I’m Nicole. I’m a creative director. And you know what? I also became a creative food chef and moment designer.
That’s the thing about being creative. We are many things. We’re told to pick one narrow niche and stick with it. Well, I have tried. Until I found out it would not work for me. I allowed myself some years of exploration, of developing a diverse set of future scenarios to figure out which one would work best for me. I explored various options, projects, companies at the same time, and compared and contrasted the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. It became clear that my life is not 1 project or 1 company or 1 passion. It’s wonderful to know now that you don’t have to choose one path or expression in your life. It took me some years to understand I can do more, as long as I love it. And do everything with the same energy as your first job.
Here is how I do it. Half of my time I am working as a creative director at my agency Juneau Cayenne and in my new brandyou.world, working on the creative vision and expression of people and their missions. I work on the presence and impact of top executives, leaders, experts, politicians and artists.
The other half of my time I dedicate to my own creative expression, crafting catchy and healthy food for my new culinary & lifestyle brand Jolliette and designing precious moments for people, families and companies. It brings me a lot of joy and bundles up so much. Jolliette is a project that is very close to me. It feels like an important mission and I am proud to see it unfold. I have realized more than ever that making healthy and catchy food for people and designing their precious moments is the most basic act of kindness a person can do. You can put so much creativity in it.
I ended up doing more than one thing, but at the end it’s just one thing and that is creativity. Creativity in life and business.
